Total commitment required

Can you imagine being married to someone and they come to you and say honey I think I should be allowed to cheat on you at least once a week. It's hard being faithful 7 days a week 😱.

What would you say ?  Would you think your spouse loves you?

Well friends this how many of us Christians treat Christ 😔. When we get baptized we enter into a covenant with Christ, a marriage relationship in which He vows to be our God and we vow to be His children, we vow to be faithful to Him. But many soon seeks satisfaction elsewhere and break His heart 💔

We commit what the Bible calls spiritual adultery when we seek satisfaction from other sources than Christ. When we go to the world to fulfill the void in our hearts because we don't really believe that Christ is able to be our all and this friends is the source of our weakness in the Christian life .

Friends, being a true Christian requires total commitment. Part time Christians are an enemy to Christ for they cannot be depended upon to be constant witness for the Master. A part time Christian lives a sinful life throughout the week and come on sabbath pretending to be Holy, such a person is a fraud.

But it gets worse. Because other people think they are Christians and when they see their sinful  behaviors, their lifestyles they concluded that Christians are hypocrites, that there is no power in Christ and that the religion of Christ is a fraud, a delusion. And because of this, many reject the gospel because of these part time Christians.

Friends, if you want to be a Christian you must be fully committed to Christ. You cannot be sneaking around with the Devil and the works of darkness throughout the week and hoping to be Holy on sabbath. Friendship with the world is adultery against God. You must either be wholly God's or wholly the Devil's.

According the Bible, God would prefer you go fully into sin than pretending to be His servant while you are practicing a life of secret sins, blaspheming His name and bringing reproach to His cause in the eyes of the heathens. Either serve God or serve sin

So what are you going to do friends? Are you going to still pretend you are a Christian while living a life of sin? Or are you going to go fully into the world and enjoy sin? The message to day is choose! Either be fully committed to Christ or go serve sin, the world and the Devil and stop being a stumbling block to the cause of God.

Choose this day whom you will serve

James 4: 4

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God

The sanctuary in Heaven

Let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them. 9 "According to all that I am going to show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture. Exodus 25:8,9 God told Moses to build him a sanctuary according to the pattern that he sees. Does that mean God created a blue print for him or is it a pattern of something in heaven? Copy of the True Tabernacle The sanctuary that they built in the wilderness is a copy of the one that is in heaven. Yes there is a sanctuary in heaven. So if there is a sanctuary in heaven , does that mean there is a High Priest also? They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: "See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain." Hebrews 8:5

Is the United States a Christian nation?

Why calling the United states a Christian country is detrimental to Christianity.  The United states was clearly influenced by Christian principles; The pilgrims were escaping persecutions from Europe and while many of them practiced Christianity, they were still suffering persecution in Europe from state churches. The founding fathers, some being Christians, made sure to separate the church from the state. They well knew of the carnage that comes as a result of having a state religion. And so, the US became one of the rare countries without a state religion. Each person was left to follow the dictate of his own conscience.  When you call a country by a specific religion, people associate all of its behaviors with said religion. Note this example: Slavery was an institution in the United states; this would also mean that the brutality of slavery was accepted a Christian precept. Even the mistreatment of the Indians would have been considered a Christian precept. In fact,...

When God calls you. The fiery way to God

"Why is my life so hard? Why are these things happening to me? I pray to God for healing, but there is no healing. I pray for better finances, but no money is forthcoming. I am so tired of these struggles; I am on the verge of giving up. I might as well live life the way I want to and hope to die soon. Have these thoughts ever come to your mind? These are thoughts many will encounter as they ascend the mountain of God. For many of us, life began well. We had a great time in our youth; we believed in love, we believed the future was bright, and we felt whole as a person. But somewhere along the way, hardship showed up. An illness, a broken heart, the death of a loved one, or broken aspirations sent us into despair and grief. Suddenly, life became dark and hopeless. But then, we heard the voice of God. We heard someone preach, 'Come to Jesus and all will be well; come to Jesus and He will give you the desires of your heart.' So we came to Jesus, hoping that we were back on ...

Modern Man
We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6
