Woman, thou art loosed

Once I asked a man what he thought the purpose of a woman was? he responded “to bear children.” His response was disappointing and one that stirred something within me. At the time I too wanted to be married and have children although I wasn’t sure what surprises the future held for me in either roles.  I hated the thought that the purpose of a woman lies in acquiring a husband or a child. I’ve watched the plight of many sisters chasing men and living aimlessly to the identity of another person. My heart revolted at the idea that my identity should be encroached to another mere human being (whether a beautiful son or a loving husband).

Identity and Role are two different things. 

There are certain roles that you can have solely based on your identity yet you don’t have to occupy those roles in order to retain your identity. To make this plain, you can only be a wife if you are a woman yet you don’t have to be a wife in order to be a woman.These roles are God given. God gave them to make his glory shown. Each person, male or female must be whole in God. 

If the purpose of the woman is not first anchored in God, she will either take these roles as burdens or fulfill them improperly. This is why the story of the Samaritan woman is so powerful. This woman encountered Jesus at the well, and he recounted her idols to her. The Samaritan woman wanted purpose, she lacked Godly identity. She presumed that her idol of being a wife was her life course, and because of that she was willing to get it at a cost to her soul. As Sisters, we have been drinking from broken cisterns. Long gone should be the thought that; in order to be happy, I should acquire someone of the other sex or become the other sex. Christ has set us free from those burdens. Not everyone will be or want to be wives or mothers. But, no one has a choice in being a daughter or a son. Being a daughter is inclusive and this is why God has called you such. Long gone should be the days where we taunt each other for the roles that we play or don’t play. In doing this, we minimize God’s sovereignty and design. 

Between thy seed and her seed

When God said that the woman’s seed will crush the serpent’s head, we made it our business to bring forth sons. In fact, Eve was so excited when she had Cain, she must have thought that he was the savior. To her disappointment, he killed his brother. Being a mother is deeply regarded, being a wife is an honor. These roles were given for a specific function, to learn and to give love, to root out selfishness, most importantly to replenish the earth. Women throughout history have not only been trying to have children, but specifically envy “SONS”. From childhood, daughters are not upheld,To the point where daughters are almost as second-class citizens in certain household. The question now exist, what makes us think that we would want to be daughters to God? Well, I’ve come to set you free! Being a daughter is no less than being a son as sons cannot fill the roles of daughters and vice-versa. Let everyone be happy with the sex that they are born in and find joy in the identity that God has created for us. Let us not unnecessarily disrupt the balance that God has set. We are all children of God whose image we bear. 

She will be saved through childbearing

Women have the special ability of bearing children while men have the special ability to determine the sex of the child. Yet Paul says that women will be saved through childbearing. To save women, since we were the one that transgressed first, God allowed Christ to come ONLY from the woman. This gift, we can all claim. The one ULTIMATE son by whom we are saved. A woman delivered the child that would deliver us. Isn’t it also interesting how Mary Magdalene was the first to see Christ and carry the news. Ladies, we are not left to be disgraced for the sin of our mother Eve, we are left to be honored for the birth of Christ through Mary. 

What is a woman?

Womanhood is not being a wife or a mother. Womanhood is being a daughter of God. Womanhood is biological, mental, physical and SPIRITUAL. Womanhood balances the world and not run or destroy the world. Be free from the disillusionment that your identity lies in acquiring a husband or a son. Womanhood is the feminine aspect of the image of God. Stop trying to be a son and be a daughter as you have been called.

You know enough!

 Many Christians out of cowardice refuse to work for the Master but instead of admitting that they are afraid, claimed not to know enough as the reason for not going to the vineyard of the Lord and work with Him in the work of saving soul. This is a cheap excuse and it will not  stand in the judgment

When God saves you from sin, from darkness, He immediately anoint you as His messenger to go share with others the message of salvation. To go tell others that there is hope and that in Jesus there is power to save to the uttermost. God has not called you to sit in the church pews as a spectator, but He called you to work with Him.

Friends, dont tell me you don't know enough to share. You know enough! You know that Jesus saved you, you know what He saved you from. Share with someone, tell them how good the Lord has been to you, tell them of His love, His mercy towards you. You know enough!

Now you may say Ric, ok you got me, I know enough because I know my testimony, I know Jesus loves me, I know what God has done for me, but I don't have anyone to share it with. I'm glad you mention that friend, because they are plenty of people to share the love of God with. Your family, your friends, your co workers are just a few

You can also spread the message of God's love to a wider audience,  through social media 📱. Instead of posting naked pictures💃🏽 , sports statistics 🤾🏿‍♂️ and other things which don't not bring glory to God, use social media as vehicle to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. You never know how many people are influenced by the things you post, for good or evil.

Friends, you know enough! You can start by just posting "Jesus loves you ",who knows what that can do for someone to know that the Creator of the universe loves them. Share the gospel using whatever means available,  whatever avenue the Lord has provided you.  God is looking for laborers, He is calling you

Don't worry about how much you know, just share the Word of God. It is not me and you who convert others but the Holy Spirit. God simply want you to be the physical agent to those in your home, your job, your social circle, your social media , He does the work of convicting and converting sinners

All of us have influence, all of us have friends, family etc.. and we are either leading them to God or to perdition. Make the difference, be the difference, spread the gospel using every good mean at your disposal and let God be glorified through all your works. Then when Jesus return, He will say well done thou good and faithful servant 🤗

Now friends,  go, go spread the gospel, go make disciples, ask the Lord to be with you, ask the Lord for strength, but delay no longer. Tell someone Jesus loves them, share a post about God's goodness, invite someone to church, make a video about the truth of God, do what God calls you to do, but go, go and make disciples for the Master, for you know enough because He has saved you 🙏🏾

"Respect for marriage Act ": abomination in the land

 

The United States Senate is currently working on a law called the " Respect for marriage act ". Sounds good right, who wouldn't want marriage to be respected 🤔? But it is not what you think. It's not about the protection of true marriage, but the promotion of vice and wickedness

The " Respect for marriage act " is a law that if passed will codify homosexual marriage into national law. It is an attempt to prevent the supreme court from reversing the court case Obergefell v. Hodges, the wicked ruling that made same sex marriage legal in the land. The "respect for marriage act " is  in reality the disrespect for marriage act .

Satan, the Devil has an evil sense of humor. He is inspiring evil men in power to attack God's sacred marriage union 🤵🏾👰🏽 under the guise of respect for marriage. While working to overthrow God's institution Satan makes it appear as He is strengthening them. It's no wonder these wicked politicians are following the leading of their Father the Devil.

Marriage is a union between a man and a woman, anything contrary to that is a corruption and when it comes to same sex marriage it is wickedness in the highest sense. God gave mankind two institutions in the garden of Eden, marriage and the sabbath, both are under attack and marriage has been overthrown in the land

Friends, if you have eyes to see, you can clearly see that the United States government is for the most part under the control of Satan, for only men and women under Satanic control would come up with such a wicked law. Both Republicans and Democrats support the law. This why Christians shouldn't put their trust in politicians

Our nation is on a downward path to perdition, to destruction. Everywhere we look we see corruption, immorality and evil on the march and where are we marching to ? A head on collision with the second coming of Jesus when He will put an end to the reign of Satan and wicked men forever 

As we said before God gave humanity two institutions in paradise, marriage and the sabbath. Satan has sought to destroy marriage with the promotion of evils such sex before marriage, sex outside of marriage (adultery) and now He is seeking to complete the work by making a law protecting the homosexual marriage, an abomination before the Lord.

When Sunday shall be made a day of rest by law and on pain of punishment, then our nation will have completely overthrown God's law and national apostasy will lead to national ruin. God will rise up to vindicate His downtrodden law and judgment will be coming on those who made void His Holy law.

Friends, we are living in the last days. Evil men are joining hands with Satan to make wickedness the law of the land. This is no time to play church, but it is time for you to enter into a a covenant with Jesus, into oneness with Him so that you may be able to attend the marriage supper of the Lamb. Seek the Lord, repent from sin, for the end of all things is upon us

All you can do

 It is a sad thing to see someone you love ❤, people you love heading towards a path of destruction and there is nothing you can do. Imagine having a child, a brother, cousin who is a drug addict heading towards sure ruin and there is nothing you can do 😢, heartbreaking 💔

Such is the power of sin. Sin deceives the sinner into thinking he/she is getting a high when in reality with each act of sin the sinner is losing his ability to understand Divine truth and his heart is becoming more resistant to the appeals of God. 

Nothing a sinner bent on self destruction love more than to separate himself/herself from those who will show them their ways are evil. Nothing a sinner love more than to hide herself from the Word of God. Nothing a sinner hates more than to hear reproof, rebuke and calls to repentance. A sinner loves the sin which is destroying him and then blame God for the results.

So what must you do if you see a loved one heading in the path of self destruction 😔? You must ask God to first cleanse you of all sin. Only God can save from sin and God cannot save through you if you yourself are living in sin. You must ask God to save you at all costs. You can't save a drowning person if you yourself are drowning in sin.

As you cling to God, as God is purifying you of your own sins, your own uncleaness, as God is removing you from sinful situation then ask the Lord to send you to that person, to help you be a witness to them in the way you live, speak etc.. you must be the light of God in the life of those around you.

As you cling to Jesus, then keep praying for that person, ask the Lord to save you at all cost and save them at all cost. All we can do is to allow God to use us to be a witness to others, we cannot save them, but our lives can show them the power of God to save.

Remember friends you cannot be a witness to someone if you yourself are doing the same thing but allowing Jesus to transform your life then God can use you to reveal His glory. All you can is allow God to use you at all cost. Lord cleans me of sin  and send me to others is my prayer 🙏🏾 

I must forgive

 I am sick 🤒 and tired of hearing "Christians " make excuses of why they are exempt from certain aspects of the will of God. Forgiveness is one of them and is our topic for today. 

Forgiveness is one of those topics that the moment you mention it, you start hearing excuses. Excuses like you don't understand what that person did to me, how they hurt me, how they betrayed me. If you were in my shoes 👞 you would do the same, you wouldn't forgive that person.

The theologically mature Christian is smarter than that, so they will say I forgive but I'll stay away from that person so they wont hurt me again, or I forgive but I will never forget. These things may sound good but they are ungodly.

So, how many time  should I forgive someone who wrongs me, 1,15, 45 times  ? And what is the limit of forgiveness? Is there a point where I  will say it is enough, I can't forgive you anymore, you have me wrong too many times ? 

There are no limits to forgiveness. We should forgive others as long as they ask for it and we should not be in the business of judging their motives and say I dont think you mean it, you have done this before.  How often should I forgive my brother ? Asked Peter. Jesus answered 70× 7 😮.

Is there a limit to forgiveness? Is a cheating spouse the limit of forgiveness 💔? Is murder the limit of forgiveness? Is betrayal the limit of forgiveness? Friends, none of these are the limit of forgiveness. Jesus said , Moses permitted divorce because of the hardness of your hearts. Meaning if we had a loving heart we would forgive our spouses even in the case of adultery, for God forgives us when we commit spiritual adultery against Him.

Friends, unless someone has betrayed you, beaten you with stripes that ripped your back open, bleeding , put a crown of thorn on your brow, nail you to a cruel cross, pierce your side with a spear and even then you should say Father forgive them, for they know not what they do. No reason not to forgive as long as the person is willing to be forgiven.

Those who are ungodly hold grudges against those who wronged them, hurt them, betray them. But as followers of Christ we must forgive and seek to make reconciliation if possible. To truly love others, you must be a forgiving person, for love is longsuffering. 

Unless we forgive all who have wrong us, we will not enter heaven. Unless we confess to God all our hatred and grudges we have in our hearts against others, then forget about going to heaven. For God will only forgive us as we forgive our debtors 😱

Is forgiveness easy to do ? No, friends, not all. Nothing God tell us to do is easy to do. Matter of fact Jesus said without me you can do nothing. So what must we do when someone wrongs us, despitefully use us ? We must go to God and say Lord help me, give me the strength to forgive this person, help me to love this person, I am hurting right now, but I want to be like you, I want to love those who hurt me, hate me and despise, help me to love this person and seek reconciliation if they are willing. I must forgive if my desire is to be like you Lord, help me to be a merciful and forgiving Christian, help me to forgive others as you forgive me is my prayer 🙏🏾

Matthew 6:12

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

A living death

 God told Adam and Eve on the day they eat of the tree 🌳 of the knowledge of good and evil they will surely die ☠. They did not die physically immediately because of the ransom provided by Christ, but they did die in many different ways. They suffered the death of perfect relationships. Relationship with God and between each other broke down 

Trust broke down between God and them and distrust between each other became a reality .

Without good, quality relationships in life, life itself becomes a living death. Many people are depressed because they are unable to have quality relationships with anybody. They feel like they can't trust anyone and so they go through life all alone .

It is Satan's goal to destroy relationships. His first goal is to destroy our relationship with God and then destroy our relationship with each other. He does that by causing to do evil to each other so that we are unable to trust each other.

You remember how you were happier as a child? Specially if you had parents who loved you. You were happier because you trusted them, you trusted your young friends, life was less complicated, but as get older things change, we become expose to evil and our trust in each other diminished. 

A life without anyone you can trust is a living death ☠. Dictators are paranoid and violent because they can't trust anyone around them, they feel like anyone can become a traitor, so they retreat to themselves, inwardly and their paranoia, depression increase. A living death, so they spread physical death to others .

Friends, the only way to truly enjoy life is by having quality relationship with God first and with each other. Satan is always attacking us, telling us God cannot be trusted, other people cannot be trusted and He does these things so we can be lonely miserable and then He has us where He wants us .

If we want to start living true life, we must reject the idea of always thinking other people are up to no good. We must learn to trust others unless they show otherwise and when they betray our trust, learn to forgive and restore them if they are willing.

We all are humans, prone to making mistakes and we all see life differently, so what you may see as a betrayal may not be seen like that at all in the eyes of the other person. So the only way to maintain long term, quality relationships is to look  for the good in orders , communicate with them and forgive them. 

Satan's goal is to destroy you, He destroys you by destroying relationships of every type in your life, by making you focus more on the misdeeds of others than on their good traits. If He can get you to think evil of others, of God, He got you .

So friends let us overcome the Devil by drawing near to God in love and near to each other. Let no past betrayal cause you to withdraw from loving people, the more people wrong you, the more you should pray for them and draw nearer to them.

We overcome the miseries of this world by loving people with all their flaws, not by allowing their flaws to separate us. God loves us with all our flaws and it is His love which transform us. Let us share the same with others, let us love them despite their coldness.

Life is all about relationships, a happy life is a life of loving relationships. Let is put away all distrusts and evil surmising, and thinking evil of others, but let us seek to build others up, love them and show them how to love. Lord help me to love others as you have loved me ❤🙏🏾

How near is the second coming of Jesus ?

 We are living in serious times. The world is looking more chaotic by the day. The nations are becoming more turbulent, politicians dont know how to solve the rising problems of the nations and we know that the Bible says before Jesus comes the world will be in such a turbulent state. Does that mean the coming of Jesus is very near 🤔?

It is very near indeed. But some sceptics will come and say but I have been hearing of the second coming of Jesus since I was a baby🤱🏾, my grandfather heard it when it was a baby, matter fact millions have heard it since 2000 years ago and yet here we are. Is Jesus a coming really near 🤔? My grandchildren will probably have children and still we wont see Jesus!

Some who are religious are waiting for a major sign of Jesus' return before they can get right with God. Like Rick, if I see a massive earthquake, if I see the sunday law then I know the second coming is near, then I'll get right with God, but until then I'll do my thing for Jesus is not coming soon.

So how near is the second coming of Jesus 🤔? Please tell me Rick so I can get ready! Is it 5 years, 10 years, 25 years ? Tell me so I know when I should get my life right with God because I dont want to perish, i want to go to heaven but I got to make sure I enjoy life before I go all in for God, so please tell me .

Friends, the second coming of Jesus is as near as your last breath. For the moment you die, your probation is closed, your fate is sealed with no second chance. The moment you die, your destiny is fixed and the next reality you will see is either Jesus coming in the clouds of heaven to get you 😊 or you standing before Him in judgment 😬

The truth is me and you don't know when we are going to die, we can die at any moment, so the second coming of Jesus is always near, even at the door 🚪. So friends dont wait for some major sign to get your life right with God, every day you hear of someone's death is another sign of Jesus coming. 

So friends, let us stop looking for signs so we can get ready, let us stop saying "my Lord is delaying His coming", I have time to enjoy sin. But let us daily seek the Lord and say Lord make me ready today and if I die today, I know I will be with you in paradise when you return. Get ready, get ready, get ready 🙏🏾

Matthew 24

48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The dead ☠ know nothing

 The first sermon ever preached by the Devil 😈 was on the immortality of the soul. God said on the day you eat of the tree 🌳 of the knowledge of good and evil you will surely die but the Devil came along and told Eve, you will not surely die.

What does it mean to die 🤔? Did God mean on the day you eat of the tree you will go to heaven ?? No, He meant you will die, you will cease to exist. After Adam sinned God said dust thou art and unto dust thou shall shall return. Death ☠ is the end of life

At death, all our thoughts,our plans perish. We don't go to heaven at the death. So no, grandma 👵🏾, grandpa 🧓🏼 are not in heaven looking down upon you. They are both in the grave. They ceased to exist, they are ashes. Don't let false teachings lead you astray, believing the dead are in heaven set you up for demonic deceptions.

Now, the dead ☠ will rise again. Both the wicked and the righteous will rise again at the resurrection. Because of Christ's death on the cross on behalf of the human race, we all will receive life again. When Jesus returns, He will raise the righteous from the grave and take them to heaven 😁

A 1000 years later He will return to the earth and raise the wicked to face eternal judgment. To be judge according to their works and to receive the sentence of eternal death by fire 🔥. A death of which there is no resurrection forever. The wicked will be utterly destroyed. God will not allow sin and sinners to live forever.

So friends, don't listen to false theology that tells you grandma 👵🏾 is in heaven, grandpa 🧓 is in heaven, Tupac and Biggie are in heaven. Your friend who was killed in a fight is in heaven 😮. None of them are in heaven, they are all awaiting the resurrection of the just and the wicked.

And why is this so important to know ? Because demonic spirits are able to take the shape of your loved ones and speak to you. When you know the dead know nothing, you will not go to your grandparents grave to speak to them because they cannot hear you 👂🏾🚫.

Friends, read your Bible,put away false, demonic teachings that are designed to lead you astray and make you an easy prey for deception. God said on the day you eat you will surely die, the only way to receive eternal life is to put all your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, He will then raise you to life and take you to heaven when He returns 🙏🏾

Ecclesiastes 9:5

For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
