The United States of America has legalized sodomite "marriages" today(June,26,2015). A happy Barack Obama welcomed the development, but none of those events should surprise a Bible student. For Jesus did say the days of the son of man will be like those of Lot , where homosexuality was rampant in the land. I am writing this article to talk about where we are at as a people and hopefully some may be awaken in this dark hour of earth's history.
Day of Mourning
It is fitting that this development came on a day of mourning for the Reverend Clementa C. Pinckney who was one of the victims of a domestic terrorist attack on June 17, 2015. After celebrating the victory of sodomites , President Obama went straight to his funeral where he sung amazing grace ,making a mockery of the Word of God. But could it be that this event is spiritually what happened to the nation today? After the victory celebrations of sin, we will be heading straight into a funeral
as a nation. A spiritual funeral, that today the United States as a nation has died spiritually.
The very look on their faces gives them away. They display their sin like the people of Sodom and don't even try to hide it. They are doomed! They have brought destruction upon themselves.Isaiah 3:9
One Nation under Satan
The United States has on their money the words "One Nation under God", but today it has revealed itself as one nation under satan. In the Bible we know that nations speak thru their laws. The laws of the land show where national allegiance lies. And by passing this abomination as law , the nation has spoken as a "dragon", a prophetic description of satan. I don't think there is any doubt that this nation has rejected God , and that he is no longer over it. But even this fact is not a surprised , the Bible does speak of another "beast which looked like lamb but spake as a dragon". Darkness is engulfing the nation and the world.
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.Revelation 13:11
Train has left the station
So beloved it's clear that the days of the Lord are fast approaching. The train has left the station, the abominations have just begun. There is no such thing in the world as a Christian nation, there are only Christian believers. True believers in the Word of God. This is no time to be compromise and be lukewarm. We must also leave our station of spiritual passivity or apathy and seek the Lord with great urgency, for the days are evil. If before we thought that the coming of the Lord was far off, this sign right here should sure wake us up , for this was one of the major reason why God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah .
Near is the great day of the LORD, Near and coming very quickly; Listen, the day of the LORD! In it the warrior cries out bitterly. 15A day of wrath is that day, A day of trouble and distress, A day of destruction and desolation, A day of darkness and gloom, A day of clouds and thick darkness...Zephaniah 1:14
Let us sleep no longer, the nation is starting to speak as a dragon and this is no time to compromise. Let us ground ourselves in fervent prayers and Bible reading, so the Lord may strengthen us for the evil days ahead. The evil tide will not turn back , but with God's help a few may be saved. May God help us all.
