Sum of your choices

You are the sum of your choices. Who you are now are the results of the choices you have made in the past. We have many people in this world going around blaming everyone and everything for the situations they find themselves in currently. These people are afraid of being accountable. The truth is no one is responsible for your life, you alone are responsible and you alone will be held accountable.  But you say Ric, that's not true, my parents did this and that and those things make me who I am now. False, while parents do have great influence on their children, your parents are not responsible for your choices and for who you have become.

Are your parents responsible for who you are today 🤔? No.While your parents influenced you greatly, they are not responsible for who you are today. Look at the life of your parents and ask yourself is my life the same ? The truth is you choose which part of your parents' teaching you wanted to follow and which part you wanted to reject. You are not like your parents because you made choices that were different from your parents. You can't blame your parents for who you are today. They influenced you, play a part in your development but you alone are responsible for where you are today.

In prisons you will find many people in there blaming others for being incarcerated.  But its a lie. No one can force you to commit crimes, they can influence you but the choice is yours. Someone can offer you money to kill someone but the choice is yours. Someone can sweet talk you into committing fraud, but the choice is yours. A gang can intimidate you into joining them, but the choice is yours. No one can make you do anything that you don't want to do.
You made the choices that resulted in who you are today. You are the sum of your choices for good or evil.

God has giving us two choices in life, good or evil. Everyday we wake up we are making choices for good or evil. Good choices today will lead to good results tomorrow, evil choices today will lead to evil results tomorrow.  You reap what you sow. You are responsible for your present situation and your future state. The Devil is not to be blame for the decision you have made. The idea of the Devil made me do it will not stand in the judgment of God. Adam and Eve tried it and it did not work because each person is a moral agent, solely responsible for the choices we make

So friends, if you want a better tomorrow, start making good choices today. If you want eternal life with Jesus, start making good choices today. By praying today, it will be easier to pray tomorrow, by seeking the Lord Jesus today, you will draw closer to Him tomorrow. By working with Christ today, you will be a better worker tomorrow. By being kind today you will get a kinder person tomorrow. By doing what is right in the eyes of the Lord today, you will be stronger to do right tomorrow. You are the sum of your choices. Choose the good, hate the evil.
Do what's right and you will have life forever more

Galatians 6:7

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

The sanctuary in Heaven

Let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them. 9 "According to all that I am going to show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture. Exodus 25:8,9 God told Moses to build him a sanctuary according to the pattern that he sees. Does that mean God created a blue print for him or is it a pattern of something in heaven? Copy of the True Tabernacle The sanctuary that they built in the wilderness is a copy of the one that is in heaven. Yes there is a sanctuary in heaven. So if there is a sanctuary in heaven , does that mean there is a High Priest also? They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: "See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain." Hebrews 8:5

Is the United States a Christian nation?

Why calling the United states a Christian country is detrimental to Christianity.  The United states was clearly influenced by Christian principles; The pilgrims were escaping persecutions from Europe and while many of them practiced Christianity, they were still suffering persecution in Europe from state churches. The founding fathers, some being Christians, made sure to separate the church from the state. They well knew of the carnage that comes as a result of having a state religion. And so, the US became one of the rare countries without a state religion. Each person was left to follow the dictate of his own conscience.  When you call a country by a specific religion, people associate all of its behaviors with said religion. Note this example: Slavery was an institution in the United states; this would also mean that the brutality of slavery was accepted a Christian precept. Even the mistreatment of the Indians would have been considered a Christian precept. In fact,...

When God calls you. The fiery way to God

"Why is my life so hard? Why are these things happening to me? I pray to God for healing, but there is no healing. I pray for better finances, but no money is forthcoming. I am so tired of these struggles; I am on the verge of giving up. I might as well live life the way I want to and hope to die soon. Have these thoughts ever come to your mind? These are thoughts many will encounter as they ascend the mountain of God. For many of us, life began well. We had a great time in our youth; we believed in love, we believed the future was bright, and we felt whole as a person. But somewhere along the way, hardship showed up. An illness, a broken heart, the death of a loved one, or broken aspirations sent us into despair and grief. Suddenly, life became dark and hopeless. But then, we heard the voice of God. We heard someone preach, 'Come to Jesus and all will be well; come to Jesus and He will give you the desires of your heart.' So we came to Jesus, hoping that we were back on ...

Modern Man

Modern Man
We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6
