Antichrist Revealed part 1

The LORD reigns, let the nations tremble; he sits enthroned between the cherubim, let the earth shake.  Psalm 99:1
And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind: Revelation 4:6
While many people have been speculating about the whereabouts of  the antichrist and who will he be, he has been among us for a while. For the antichrist is not one individual but according to the scriptures, it is a system that opposes God and has a man for its leader. In this short study, we will reveal his identity.
 1. Arose from the fourth beast (the Roman Empire) of Daniel 7:7,8 (papacy emerged from the  
         Roman empire)
 2. Spoke great words — Daniel 7:8. Shall speak great things against the Most High — Daniel   7:25
3. Its name is blasphemy — Revelation 13:1.
  
I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. John 17:11  


This is the prayer of Jesus in which He refers to God as Holy Father and we have the pope; a mere sinful man, also calling himself  the same.

And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven .Matthew 23:9
The Protestant reformers; Luther, Calvin, Knox, Wesley, and many others, recognized that the beast's power was mentioned under various synonyms in Scripture. It was:
  • The little horn of Daniel 7
  • The man of sin, the son of perdition who introduces the mystery of iniquity in 2 Thess. 2 
  • The antichrist of 1 John 2 and 4 and 2 John
  • Babylon of Revelation 14, 16, 17, 18
  • The whore and scarlet beast of Revelation 17
As we can see from these few verses alone, it is a system that claims to represent God and making its leader equal with ELOHIM. The very definition of blasphemy. Just to be clear, the catholic people are not the antichrist but the papal system is.
Look no longer for the antichrist for he is already among us.

Is the United States a Christian nation?

 Why calling the United states a Christian country is detrimental to Christianity.  The United states was clearly influenced by Christian principles; The pilgrims were escaping persecutions from Europe and while many of them practiced Christianity, they were still suffering persecution in Europe from state churches. The founding fathers, some being Christians, made sure to separate the church from the state. They well knew of the carnage that comes as a result of having a state religion. And so, the US became one of the rare countries without a state religion. Each person was left to follow the dictate of his own conscience.  When you call a country by a specific religion, people associate all of its behaviors with said religion. Note this example: Slavery was an institution in the United states; this would also mean that the brutality of slavery was accepted a Christian precept.
