Faithful and true

 How many of us can claim to be faithful and true ? How many of us can claim to know someone who is faithful and true ? Someone you can bet your life on ?  Its difficult, I know. We are living in a time when its hard to trust anyone, a time during which you cannot trust the word of most people. People will tell you one thing and do something completely different.  


Around us all we find are unfaithfulness and falsehoods. Marriage is a perfect example 🤵🏾👰🏽. People come together on the altar before the Lord and witnesses, claiming to love each other until death do us apart and within 7 years of marriage about 50 percent get a divorce 💔, breaking their vows and proved to be unfaithful.

Politicians are unfaithful and false. They promise one thing and when they get into power do something completely different. Our friends, loved ones make promises to us and at the time of need, time of testing many a times proved unfaithful and false. We ourselves have been unfaithful and false to others .

With so much unfaithfulness and falsehoods around us we have learned to trust in nothing and in no one and as a result we struggle to find peace, love and balance in life. As a result we retreat to ourselves because we feel like self is the only thing we can trust and the saddest thing is even self fail us and proved unfaithful and so our anxieties increase. 

In such a world of unfaithfulness is there anyone who we can trust, in whom we can put all our hopes 🤔? Yes, I have found one, I am here to tell you there's is one, the Faithful and True Witness, even Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  Jesus is faithful and true, His promises are sure, you can bet your life on them.

When Jesus said "He will never leave you nor forsake you," He meant it. We can forsake Him but if we abide in Him, He will always remain by our side. Whe He said He will forgive us of all our sins if we confess them, He meant it. When He said He will keep us from fallen into sin, He meant it . And when He said He will come back the second time you better believe it. 

Jesus is the Faithful and true witness, put your trust in Him and you will never be moved. Put your trust in Him and His love will flow through you. Put your trust in Him and you will get the strength to face any and every obstacle in life. Jesus is the faithful and true witness, put your trust wholly in Him 🙏🏾.

Is the United States a Christian nation?

 Why calling the United states a Christian country is detrimental to Christianity.  The United states was clearly influenced by Christian principles; The pilgrims were escaping persecutions from Europe and while many of them practiced Christianity, they were still suffering persecution in Europe from state churches. The founding fathers, some being Christians, made sure to separate the church from the state. They well knew of the carnage that comes as a result of having a state religion. And so, the US became one of the rare countries without a state religion. Each person was left to follow the dictate of his own conscience.  When you call a country by a specific religion, people associate all of its behaviors with said religion. Note this example: Slavery was an institution in the United states; this would also mean that the brutality of slavery was accepted a Christian precept. When God calls you. The fiery way to God

 "Why is my life so hard? Why are these things happening to me? I pray to God for healing, but there is no healing. I pray for better finances, but no money is forthcoming.
