Nature




I was shocked when I saw you
And even more touched that I never noticed you
How ignorant could I have been?
…For me to not have seen?
I think I once knew you
When there wasn’t so much light around you
And I was used to you
I never took the time to admire you
Who would have thought you would become my muse…

Today my jaws dropped
I am awed and appalled
I couldn’t take my eyes off of you
I smiled…
I had to take a moment with you
Now it is easier for me to see
When there is no light around to blind me
You look “dashing! Astonishing!”
Then I thought, you couldn’t have been less than amazing

You are beauty by nature
You are as your creator
I see him through you
One more time, do me this favor
Let me see you again…
And I might be able to explain
In darkness just the two of us
When there is no sound to interrupt
I might be able to question and stare in the deep blue
What I think of you……………

If I can master up the strength
If I would be endowed with the proper attributes and attitudes of a poet
Then I would be able to describe my astonishment
“You are light in darkness
Your beauty is priceless…
Your nature mirrors your creator”
So well-put together
Just like their maker.
Those stars in the sky made me wonder…
“The beauty of nature is its creator”
And I know if I think about it enough, I will know him for sure.

The spiritual nature and the degradation of marriage

Man was made in the image of God.  What does it mean to be made in the image of God? What is God like ? The Bible says "God is a Spirit." What comes to mind when you think of a Spirit? You think of something not limited by physical restraints, something unseen, something greater than the physical.  God made man in His image, He made a spiritual being covered by an earthly body. We all have the breath of God within us, we all have a spirit within us.
