Preparing for battle

 When do you prepare for war 💂🏾‍♂️🤔? When the enemy is at gates or in a time of peace 🤔? Well, I read a story about the Libyan government trying to prepare for war when the civil war started in 2011. 

The government was trying to buy around 120 armored fighting vehicles for around 28 million dollars. The person who was responsible to buy it, soon betrayed the government and join the rebel movement 😔. The Libyan government lost the civil war 💂🏾‍♂️

The lesson here is one shouldn't prepare for war when the enemy is at the gates. I'm not saying they lost the war just because they didn't get those armored vehicles, there were many other factors such as NATO's military intervention on behalf of the rebels, but the government was not prepared for the war.

And so it is with many of us spiritually. We live as if this world🌍 is a peaceful place and not a battlefield 💂🏾‍♂️, so when temptations and difficulties suddenly come upon us, we are  overcomed, defeated by the enemy 😈

Preparation for war 💂🏾‍♂️ is made during times of peace, not when the enemy is at the gates. You prepare for the battles of the day in the peaceful time of morning prayers, morning devotion, morning communion with God 🙏🏾

Prayer is the armored fighting vehicles we need to drive in this world, to fight the daily battles of our lives, the battles against temptations, battles against sin, battles against the flesh, the world and the Devil 😈

Don't wait until a moment of crises to get right with God, but every morning spend time with Jesus in prayer and He will prepare you for the battles to come during the day 💂🏾‍♂️. To delay spiritual preparations is to be overcome in the battle of life 😔. Don't be a victim, prepare today 🙏🏾

Luke 21

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man

Murdered by lies

 Lies are dangerous! No, lies are deadly 💀. Lies kill. Jesus said the Devil 😈 was a murderer from the beginning and is the Father of lies. All who practice lying are his spiritual children. Do you practice lying friends 🤔?

 Lying has 2 objects in view. Someone else and you. The Devil 😈 has 2 people in view when he lies. He wants to distort your view of God or your view of yourself. And if He can distort your view of God, then he will kill you 💀.

Which leads us to mental health crises 😫. Mental health issues are Satan's assaults on our minds. Many mental health problems we have are the results of believing lies, lies about God, lies about yourself and lies about others. Lies such as God doesn't care about me

What you believe will influence your actions and if you believe lies about God, your self and others, your actions will be destructive. Do you believe you are worthless 🤔?  Do you believe you are alone, no one cares ? Then you may see nothing wrong with suicide 🔪💀

So friends, what lies do you believe about God 🤔? What lies you believe about yourself 🤔? What lies do you believe about others 🤔? Is your life a bunch of lies 🤔? Jesus wants to set you free 🤗 and He does it through His truth

 Jesus said if you continue in His word, you are truly His disciples, then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free 🤗. Friends, what we need to do is study God's Word to know who God is and who you are.

Dont believe in Satan's lies. This lies can come from the world, your family, your own thoughts. Dont believe them, but believe in God's truth, and live by them. And what is God's truth 🤔? He loves you with an everlasting love ❤.

Whatever lies you have in your mind, test it with the scriptures and it will be proven false. Ask God to purify your minds, then you will know the truth and the truth shall set you free. Lies kills 🔪 but Jesus saves 🤗.

John 8:30-32

King David's big mistake 🤴🏾

 King David sinned against God when he had sexual relation with someone he wasn't married to . He had sex with Bathsheba,  the wife of one of his elite soldiers, Uriah the hittite. 

Sin is always treachery.  Treachery against God,  treachery against our fellow men. King David took advantage of Bathsheba,  betrayed God and Uriah . He didn't care about how they felt,  he only cared about his own satisfaction. 

Then the women sent word that she is pregnant with David's child.  What David thought was a one night of pleasure became a serious problem.  Now he had to do something, because according to the Divine law, adulterers must be put to death.

What will king David do ? Will he go to God and ask for guidance or will he try to take matters into his own hands and fix the situation? . He took matters into his own hands and had Uriah, the husband killed in battle .

And this is what happens to many of us . When we fall into sin or make mistake, instead of going to God, repent and seek for guidance on how to proceed,  we take matters into our own hands and Satan will be at hand to lead us to greater evils.

In trying to save himself from the situation he got into, Satan led David to commit murder. You see this all the time, people commit sexual immorality with someone who is not their husband or wife and then when pregnancy occurs run to the abortion clinic to murder the child in the womb. Adding sin to sin.

The biggest mistake we make in life is thinking that we are wise enough to lead our own lives.  Satan will take advantage of us and lead us from evil to evil, from one state of rebellion to another.

Friends, let us not be like king David when we fall into sin. Let us not seek to get ourselves out by our own wisdom, but let us immediately seek the presence of the Lord through prayer and ask for forgiveness and help to go forward in righteousness.  Do not trust in your own wisdom, but pit your trust in the Lord 🙏🏾

Wives, submit yourselves unto your husbands, as unto the Lord 👰🏽

 Submission, submission 😬, the word many women dont want to hear 👂🏾 in this generation. Submission is considered a bad word to many, but the Lord has commanded the wives 👰🏽 to submit to their husbands 

Remember what said the other day, anytime God ask us to do something, it is not something we can do with our own strength 💪🏾, but something we must rely on Him for strength to do.  Submission is no different. The Lord knows it's not easy for a wife to submit to her husband 😔

Since the fall in Eden 🌳, women are more interested in trying to rule over their husbands than to submit to their rule(Genesis 3:16). The women have a saying: husband may be the head, but the wife is the neck turning the man where she wants 😔

As a result, marriages are full of conflicts. It is impossible to have a union between sinners if no one will submit to the other. God in His love and wanting us to be loving as Him, commands the husband to love the wife, but for the wife to submit to her husband. The way a wife show real love to her husband is through submission

Women are generally more emotional than men, so women prefer loving affections and words. While a man prefer actions more, a man knows his wife love him when she submits to his leadership. But it's hard for women to do that, because it's hard for women to trust that their husband is capable 🤵🏾

But God command the wife to submit to her husband. It must be done with prayer 🙏🏾. Submit to your husband as long as what he asking you to do is not against the Lord. Notice the word say as in the Lord. As long as what the husband is doing is not wrong, the wife should submit. Submission is not weakness but strength 💪🏾

God doesn't say wife submit to your husband if he loves you , but God say submit as in the Lord. It means that women should submit whether husband love her or not, for in submitting to her husband she is honoring God. A man should love his wife, submissive or not.

It is a terrible thing to be with a woman who is always arguing with you over every decision as a man 😔. But it is a beautiful thing to have a wife who submits to her husband as in the Lord.  Such a wife will bring the best out of her husband 😊. Such a wife must be a prayerful woman, for we know husbands out there are far from perfect.

So it is ladies, if you want a beautiful marriage 👰🏽, if you want to please God in your marriage, if you want your husband to love you as Christ loved the church, ask God for the strength to submit to y ou ur husband. No easy task, require much prayer and self sacrifice 

And finally, always remember marriage represents the union of Christ and the church 👰🏽. The husband represents Christ who loves the church to death ❤ and the woman represents the church who is supposed to submit to her husband. Men pray to love our wives , ladies pray to submit to your husbands 🙏🏾

Ephesian 5:22,23

Am I a murderer 😱☠?

 Are you a murderer is the question today ? Your response will be a quick no. How dare you ask such a question, I have never murdered anyone, and i would never do such a wicked act. I am a good person, I'm not perfect, I try my best.

But on close analysis you will see, I will see that we are guilty of murder and not the murder of anyone but the murder of the Son of God, Jesus Himself. It was sin that put Jesus up on that cross, my sins, your sins did it. To commit sin is to seek to murder God, sin is attempt to dethrone Him from your heart 💔

At some point in our lives, the question comes up, what shall I do with Jesus called the Christ? Matthew 27:22. Pilate asked the crowd that question, and the crowd responded crucify Him. Pilate say but Jesus is innocent, but the crowd say crucify Him

Pilate tried to save Jesus but the issue came up that if He saves Jesus, He will lose his job. Pilate had a decision to make, my job or Jesus 🤔? Pilate decided on crucifying Jesus to keep his job 😱. Pilate then wash his hands, claiming innocence 

Pilate claimed to be innocent of Jesus' blood even as he hand Him over to be crucified. Pilate was guilty of the blood of Christ.  And so are we friends. When we choose sin, we choose self, we choose things over Christ, we are guilty of murder ☠

Everyday all of us face the question, what shall I do with Jesus 🤔? Should I chose Him or my job? Should I choose Him or my sex drive ? Should I choose Him or my boyfriend/girlfriend? Should I choose Him or my anger, gossip, pride etc..Everyday we are choosing to choose or murder Christ 😱

Everyday the question is asked to you, to me. Choose Jesus or Barabbas? Barabbas represents Satan 😈. When we choose sin, we choose Satan, when we choose self, we choose Satan and we say crucify Christ 😱

In the judgment those who refused God's mercy of forgiveness will be found guilty of murder, murder of the Son of God😱 . Lord, I repent, Lord help me to choose you everyday, help me to do your will every day is my prayer 🙏🏾

Abortion and the will of God

 The United States government has corrected a major wrong. The supreme court has reversed the evil decision of Roe vs Wade, which created a right to murder unborn children in the womb 🤰🏾. The founders of the constitution never envisioned such wickedness, for the children are a heritage of the Lord 👼🏽. Millions of children have been sacrificed as a results of the legalization of murder as a right. While the supreme court decision doesn't abolish abortion, it simply send it back to the state, it does remove  national approval of the practice.

Now why is there a need for abortion 🤔? It is because of sin. While many will argue, what if the woman get raped ? What if it's the case of incest etc.., the true reason of abortion is to escape from the consequences of sinful actions. People will commit fornication and adultery and when the woman get pregnant 🤰🏾 seek to escape the consequences of their sinful actions by putting to death the innocent child in the womb 👼🏽. They deceive themselves into saying it's not a human being. Yet many women who had abortion suffer with guilt and remorse because deep down they know they committed murder. God is forgiving if they repent

Satan 😈 is very wise, in order to encourage us in evil, He calls evil good and good evil. So the murder of innocent children at the altar of lust , He calls it a woman choice. Child sacrifice is nothing new, many pagan ancient cultures practiced child sacrifice. When the temple prostitutes got pregnant,  many sacrificed the children to Molech. The Bible speaks a lot about child sacrifice and how God hates it and it is also a result of a nation having forsaken God. When a nation forsakes God, it is given over to a depraved mind so that a mother, who is supposed to be a protector of an innocent child will slay that child in her own womb 🤰🏾

When a nation forsake God, they will put the right of sinners above the right of God. On the issue of incest, Lot's two daughters committed incest with Him and yet the Lord did not destroy the children born from the perverted act, but the children became great nations. While incest and rapes are evil acts, it is better to leave up to God to help us deal with those situations then to take away life who He has given.  I know this is tough, as a woman I wouldn't know how to proceed with such a reality without help from God, but this is where trust and reliance upon God is important. God is the author of life and not us.

Abortion is a sensitive topic for many people but it becomes clearer when we put God first ,when we love God first and love our neighbors as ourselves 👼🏽. When we love God first we will not practice sexual sins which results in unwanted pregnancies 🤰🏾, which then lead to the murder of innocent children. The root cause of abortion on demand is a society that has rejected God, has fallen into sexual idolatry, with sexual idolatry comes child sacrifice. So friends, if you had an abortion in your life, go to God and He will forgive you, ask Him to help you refrain from the sins that caused you to murder an innocent child 😔

God is loving, God is forgiving, God is merciful.

 So no matter what you have done in the past, come to Jesus, confess your sins and He will forgive you. But friends never allow yourself to justify evil in order to save yourself from difficult situations. 

Abide in the Lord always, put God first and your path in life will always be clear

Jeremiah 19

3 And say, Hear ye the word of the Lord, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.

4 Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;

5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:

6 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter.

True freedom is not to have idols

  We are a race of worshipers , we  all have a god we worship and a religion we follow. No human being is free from this , but whom and what you worship can be the difference between a life of freedom or bondage.


The Law of not worshiping idols


When we worship an idol, money , cars , women, pleasure or whatever else it may be , we become a slave to that idol. No matter how much of the idols we have , we always have a lingering emptiness. The reason for that emptiness is because we are worshiping things that are worthless in the final analysis. Our hearts, only God can satisfy. To put God first in the life is the only way to truly find peace. Just like a gas tank is made for gas, putting water in it will only cause it to be damage. God is the designer of the human being and He knows how it works.

All the laws of the Lord are for our good, so if the Lord tell us not to worship idols, let us be obedient . If we struggling with idols in our lives, let us go to God in prayer and He will break away the idols from our lives and give us true freedom.
